Barb's workshops are structured to foster the creative nature within you. Quilts pictured below are shown to exemplify the creative techniques that will be covered in each workshop. As workshops are technique oriented and not specific to any quilt, the images below are for visual example only.

Autumn Reflections Quilt
Make this stunning, and deceptively simple, quilt top, using a variety of techniques, including weaving, raw edge applique, adding accent strips (3 dimentional), simple log cabin piecing, and fusing small squares as embellishments."

This class is offered as a 1-1/2 day workshop, $600.00 plus expenses. Pattern fee paid to instructor: $8.00
An optional kit, which includes the pattern and same hand-painted fabrics as shown on the pattern, is available for $55.00, payable to the instructor.

Machine Bindings
'Learn to sew a binding FRONT AND BACK using your sewing maching. No more hand sewing down the back! At the same time, give your quilts an elegant finish with a contrasting accent strip, giving your quilts both elegance and style.

This class is offered as a 1/2 day class, or as a 1 day class. The 1 day class will also cover other bindings and finishings, including a Jagged Edged Binding.
Half day workshop, $250 plus expenses.
One day workshop, $400.00 plus expenses. (The full day workshop includes other binding techniques, for a professional finish!)

Curved Piecing Without Templates ** Techniques featured in quilts pictured below.
This class teaches you the easy way to add gentle curves to your quilts, without using time-consuming templates. No need to mark fabric or even clip curves. There are so many applications for this technique, from backgrounds to borders to blocks to free-form art quilts, that from now on you will be limited only by your own imagination. This technique will free up your creativity, and allow you to do much more with your quilts than you ever thought possible. Once you see how easy it is, you won’t want to stop!

Skill level: Experienced beginner to Advanced - Previous piecing experience helpful, along with a good working knowledge of your sewing machine. One day workshop, $350.00 plus expenses.
